Only two minutes from the ferry terminal, Oystercatcher House offers a friendly welcome, comfortable rooms, exceptional breakfasts and a wonderful Hebridean island to explore. There is off-road parking, secure cycle storage, a laundry service and drying facilities.
The guest lounge, with comfortable seating, provides the opportunity to relax and watch Island life unwind before you. Herons, sea eagles and golden eagles are often seen and dolphins are regularly sighted playing in The Narrows. Binoculars are provided. There is a small library containing useful information about the island and Skye as well as more general reading material. A ‘freesat’ television offers a more extensive range of programmes. Guests are welcome to make use of the lounge throughout the day where there are tea and coffee-making facilities, with home baking on arrival.
We have two double rooms, one on the lower floor, and a twin room, all with en-suite facilities and a single/doubleroom with adjacent private shower room. The modern shower rooms all have under floor heating and heated towel rails. Rooms are equipped with a ‘freeview’ television, free wifi, hairdryers, mineral water and hospitality tray.
You are invited to join us between 3.30pm and 7.30pm on your arrival day. We ask that rooms are vacated before 10.00am on your day of departure.
Please note that we operate a minimum two night stay policy.
